Manage My Booking

How do I benefit from using Manage My Booking?

As a Royal Brunei Airlines guest, Manage My Booking is a self-service online initiative tailored to assist you by:

  • Giving you reassurance about your booking by being able to view your booking details 24 hours a day at any time up to when you travel for each flight.
  • Providing you with convenience in amending your booking details.
  • Eliminating the need for you to check your booking details and request booking services via phone or e-mail.
  • Allowing you to purchase add-ons such as seat selection, Sky Lounge access at Brunei International Airport, travel insurance and selection of inflight meal.

What can I do through Manage My Booking?

For all Royal Brunei bookings, Manage My Booking allows you to:

View Your Booking

  • View details of your travel itinerary
  • View your special meal requests
  • View your traveler information

How do I access Manage My Booking?

To access Manage My Booking on:

  1. Desktop – enter your Booking Reference and Last Name into the relevant fields on Manage Booking page.
  2. RB Travel App – Select “My Trips” in the bottom navigation, then “Add Trip”. Enter your Booking Reference and Last Name into the relevant fields.

Are there any restrictions to which bookings I can modify with Manage My Booking?

You are unable to modify bookings with Manage My Booking for:

  • Flights that have been booked through a travel agent or Royal Brunei Offices. Only flights that are booked online through www.flyroyalbrunei.com can be managed at the moment.
  • Flights booked with Royal Skies award redemption.
  • Flights with less than 4 hours before scheduled departure.
  • Flights already checked-in.
  • Flights that have been deemed No Show.
  • Flights that passengers had been offloaded.
  • Flights which have been cancelled.
  • Flights that have been purchased with a Promo Code.
  • Flights with multi-destinations.

If your changes cannot be made online, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office.

What are the changes that I can make through Manage My Booking?

You can make the following types of changes:

Flight details changes:

  • Dates / Times
  • Fare Type Upgrade
  • Meal requests
  • Reserve your seat(s)
  • Pre-purchase extra baggage allowance

Booking details changes:

  • Edit contact details
  • Update Frequent Flyer Information

If you need to make other changes, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office. If you have booked through a travel agent, we recommend you contact your agent to make any changes.

There may be fees associated with making changes to your booking depending on the fare conditions of your ticket.

What are the changes that I cannot make through Manage My Booking?

You cannot make the following types of changes:

  • Origin and destination (including break of journey)
  • Guest(s) travel documents details (such as, passport number, nationality and date of birth)
  • Guest(s) name

If you need to make these changes*, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office. If you have booked through a travel agent, we recommend you contact your travel agent to make any changes.

*Admin fees apply for changes made via our Royal Brunei Office.

How can I make itinerary changes?

Itinerary changes can be made with Manage My Booking only for online bookings made through www.flyRB.com.

If your fare rules permit the change, simply retrieve your booking via Manage My Booking by entering your Booking Reference and Last Name.

  • For date changes, go to ‘Under Your Flights’, click on ‘Change Flights’ to modify your bookings.
  • To book services, go to ‘Services’, click on ‘Modify’ to add your special meal request, preferred seat and/or pre-purchase extra baggage allowance.

If you are unable to find the Change Flights button, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office to make the necessary changes.

Why am I unable to find the Change Flights button in my flight booking details in Manage My Booking?

This could be due to the following reasons:

Your flight(s) was booked through a travel agent or Royal Brunei Offices. Only flights that are booked online through www.flyroyalbrunei.com can be managed at the moment.

  • Your flight(s) was booked with Royal Skies award redemption.
  • Your flight is less than 4 hours before scheduled departure.
  • You have already checked-in your flight(s).
  • Your flight(s) that have been deemed No Show.
  • Flights that passengers had been offloaded.
  • Your flight(s) which have been cancelled.
  • Your flight was purchased with a Promo Code.

Changing a booking multiple times

You can make changes to your booking for an unlimited number of times. However, change fees and any fare difference may apply as per the condition of your ticket fare rules.

Can I make changes online for only one (01) passenger in the booking?

No, any changes you make online will apply to all passengers in the booking. If you want to make changes for only one passenger, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office. Fees may apply.

Can I change a booking made with Royal Skies online?

No. To make changes to Royal Skies booking, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office.

Can I change my flight online if I have purchased my ticket via a travel agent or Royal Brunei Offices?

Currently changing flight booking online only supports electronic tickets booked through www.flyroyalbrunei.com. Please contact your travel agent or your nearest Royal Brunei Office for assistance.

Why are you unable to locate my bookings?

This could be due to either one of the following reasons:

  • Your booking was not made via www.flyroyalbrunei.com.
  • Your booking was a Royal Skies Award Redemption.
  • Your booking was made through a travel agent or Royal Brunei Offices.

What will happen to my meal request if I change my booking?

Your special meal requests are unaffected as long as there is a green confirmation tick with your meal selection under Special Meal Requests.

Please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office if special meal requests are not confirmed after you made the schedule change. Special meal requests must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled departure.

What will happen to my pre-purchased chargeable seat if I change my booking?

If you have cancelled your booking, fee paid for chargeable seat(s) will be refunded. Please note that cancellations fees apply.
Fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you made dates changes to your booking, the fee paid for chargeable seat is non-refundable and forfeited.

Can I cancel my booking online?

Cancellations cannot be done online via Manage My Booking. Please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Office to cancel your booking. Fees may apply.

Can I select my meal using Manage My Booking?

Yes, you can.

Special requests must be made at least 24 hours before scheduled departure.

Please note that special meal requests is unavailable for flights between Brunei and Kota Kinabalu.

I made an Online Meal Request earlier and wish to view or change my choice. How may I do so?

To view or change your meal request, kindly follow the steps below:

  • Enter your Booking Reference and Last Name under Manage My Booking.
  • Under Special Meal Requests, click on Modify and select your preferred meal at least 72 hours before scheduled departure.

If I had made changes to my travelling dates, will my insurance details be changed automatically?

I have flown part of my itinerary. Can I change the remaining part of my itinerary?

Yes, you can do so through Manage My Booking or by contacting your nearest Royal Brunei Airlines office.

My ticket was purchased from a travel agent. Can I change my itinerary online through Manage My Booking?

No. We advise that you contact your travel agent to arrange for changes to your itinerary. Fees may apply.

I have purchased my ticket from a travel agent. Can I cancel my booking online?

No. We advise that you contact your travel agent to arrange for cancellations to your booking. Fees may apply.

My itinerary contains flights on partner airlines. Can I cancel/modify my booking through Manage My Booking?

No. Please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Airlines office if the itinerary was purchased online or through any of our offices. For tickets purchased from travel agents, please contact your preferred travel agent.

How do I get a refund for an unused ticket purchased online or through any of your offices?

Please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Airlines office to request for a refund. Fees may apply.
