Bassinets<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Seats that can be fitted with bassinets suitable for infants\u202fnot more than 12 months,\u202fand with a limitation of\u202fweight and height of not more than\u202f10kgs\u202fand 60cm tall<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0are situated at the\u00a0<\/span>front rows of the Economy Class cabin<\/span><\/a>. Seats fitted with a bassinet are limited and families with infants are recommended to purchase in advance<\/span>\u00a0through\u00a0<\/span>Manage Your Booking<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or by\u00a0<\/span>contacting<\/span><\/a>\u00a0your nearest Royal Brunei Airlines office.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Guests with infants are advised to bring essential items on board such as diapers, baby wipes, and creams inside a small bag that is easily accessible during flight.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Strollers<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Strollers that meet cabin size requirements (not exceeding 55cm x 35cm x 25cm, and the sum of length, width, and height must be < 115cm) and weigh less than 7kg are permitted in the cabin, provided they are tagged with a Cabin Baggage tag.<\/p>\n

Strollers that exceed these dimensions or weigh more than 7 kg\u00a0must be transported in the cargo compartment only.<\/p>\n

Infant<\/span>\/Child<\/span>\u00a0Baggage Allowance<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Infant tickets without a seat ha<\/span>ve<\/span>\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span>checked\u00a0<\/span>baggage allowance of 10kgs.<\/span>\u00a0For infant ticket with a seat and child ticket, your checked baggage allowance is printed on your ticket. Alternatively, you may also find it via\u00a0<\/span>Manage Your Booking<\/span><\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0The standard\u00a0<\/span>baggage\u00a0<\/span>prohibition<\/span>\u00a0and restrictions<\/span><\/a>\u00a0still applies.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Child Car Seats and harnesses<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Guests may bring onboard their own car seats to be used by<\/span>\u00a0an<\/span>\u00a0infant<\/span>\u00a0or a\u00a0<\/span>child between<\/span>\u00a0the ages of<\/span>\u00a06 months to 3 years old.<\/span>\u00a0Infants and\/or children must h<\/span>old\u00a0<\/span>a<\/span>\u00a0valid flight<\/span>\u00a0ticket purchased with a\u00a0<\/span>seat. You may need to specifically request for\u00a0<\/span>an infant ticket with a<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>seat<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>if you plan to bring onboard your own car seats\u00a0<\/span>as infant tickets\u00a0<\/span>usually do not include<\/span>\u00a0a\u00a0<\/span>seat.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Car seats or child restraint system must be an approved purpose designed forward facing car seat that has a single release harness that secures the lap, torso and shoulders of the infant\/child<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0can be\u00a0securely strapped to an aircraft passenger seat<\/span>\u00a0and the width of the car seat must not\u00a0<\/span>exceed<\/span>\u00a016-inches.<\/span>\u00a0It must have at least one of the following relevant certifications:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Canada<\/td>\nAny one of the following:<\/p>\n

  • Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard CMVSS 213 entitled “Child Restraint Systems”;<\/li>\n
  • CMVSS No. 213.1 entitled “Infant Seating and Restraint Systems\u201d; or<\/li>\n
  • marked \u201cthis restraint is certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Europe and UK<\/td>\nEuropean Safety Standard requirements of United Nations ECE Regulation 44 (UN\/ECE 44)<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

You may find the relevant certifications labelled on your car seat.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is our guests\u2019 responsibility\u00a0<\/span>to bring\u00a0<\/span>their own car seat or child restraint system.\u00a0<\/span>Royal Brunei Airlines recommends guests\u00a0<\/span>to\u00a0<\/span>contact us<\/span>\u00a0at your nearest Royal Brunei Airlines office for p<\/span>re-approval for the use of a child seat or child restraint system should be o<\/span>btain<\/span>ed at least 7 days prior to your scheduled departure<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span>You<\/span>\u00a0will<\/span>\u00a0also need to show your device to our airport staff on the day of travel, including at check-in.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seat allocation\u00a0<\/span>and availability\u00a0<\/span>for\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>use of car seats and child restraint systems is restricted<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>(must not be in the same row as an emergency exit) and\u00a0<\/span>may vary by aircraft type. Not all aircraft and all cabins are able to accommodate car seats and child restraint systems.<\/span>\u00a0An adult of age 16 years old and above must occupy the seat adjacent to the car seat.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If any of your flights are operated by an airline other than Royal Brunei Airlines, you must obtain approval for the car seat or child restraint system from that airline.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Child Meals<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

Baby and Child Meals<\/span><\/a>\u00a0can be requested\u00a0<\/span>during the online booking process, through\u00a0<\/span>Manage Your Booking<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or by\u00a0<\/span>contacting<\/span><\/a>\u00a0your nearest RB office,\u00a0<\/span>for your flight(s) with Royal Brunei Airlines\u00a0<\/span>no later than 24 hours\u00a0<\/span><\/b>prior to scheduled flight departure time.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
