Job Purpose:

  • The job holder will be responsible for business technology projects and IT change requests throughout all phases of the project cycle from contract award to the handover to the client
  • This role tracks and manages the implementation of projects across IT and the enterprise initiatives tabled at the Technology Steering Committee as and when required
  • Strong focus on end to end project delivery, including financial reporting and project tracking, and roll out schedule while providing detailed reporting at every step of the execution.
  • Providing regular project status reports indicating extent of conformance with and deviation from approved budgets and schedules.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure project resources are negotiated and available to deliver project. Identify outsourcing solutions upfront when internal resources cannot fulfill requirements
  • Meeting with project stakeholders of all levels and report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life-cycle.
  • Meet with IT department head, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to resolve problems to enable projects to move on schedule
  • To assist the organization and IT team in implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project, request and communicating clearly to the stakeholders, management, business user, facilitators and vendors.
  • Assist system Integration Manager to review / edit the properness of documents related to project or tasks before submission to sr management or business user for review.

 Job Responsibilities:

  •  Develops and updates project dashboards for KPI displays using project management tools
  • Create and update the business case of a business requirement. This includes eliciting requirements that will lead to IT projects.
  • Drive the design or review the Business case, test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment.
  • Writing clear documents including charters, and leading project meetings with Sr. Management.
  • Develops and updates project dashboards for KPI displays using project management tools. Deep understanding of all project tools and project methodologies
  • Update and maintain the Project registry for assigned projects
  • Working closely with IT managers to identify and manage risks related to project delivery.
  • Rigorously managing project scope in collaboration with business stakeholders and within the program parameters.
  • Review contract documents and specifications to make sure they all meet the stakeholders understanding of scope and works to bridge any gaps.
  • Acts as liaison with IT and/or business users/vendors.
  • Prepares systems project documentation, obtains commitment from all groups and recommends project plan to management.
  • Taking on Extra tasks assigned by management in achieving company goal. Extra/other duties as assigned

 Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology Computer science major in information management and project management training
  • 8-10 years experience in IT industry, IT Project Management and/or the Airline industry.
  • Project Management Concepts and Certifications (PMP, PMI).
  • Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) and Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Programs
