Senior Revenue Management Analyst – Career Vacancy

Key responsibilities:

As part of Revenue Management team, candidate must be able to handle all aspects of the job responsibilities as follows:-

  • Implement inventory and groups strategies and tactics to achieve route revenue budgets and ensure maximum revenue performance
  • Participate in passenger revenue-generation activities for designated routes through coordinated with Pricing and Sales teams, locally and abroad
  • Accountable for optimal revenue settings – and effective management of group space on designated routes in line with established strategies and corporate goals
  • Provide input to inventory and groups management strategy formulation for designated area of responsibility
  • Provide constructive input in the development, documentation and implementation of inventory and group space strategies and tactics for designated routes order to optimise to achieve route revenue budgets and optimise revenue performance
  • Constantly research and analyse revenue performance, demand trends and forward bookings to formulate/adapt inventory strategies and settings and management of group space in order to ensure revenue maximization on designated flight departures
  • Perform daily reviews of revenue management system alerts and implement appropriate response(s) to changes in passenger demand
  • For designated routes, perform daily review and evaluation of group requests and accept, reject or make counterproposals to sales offices to ensure optimal revenue contribution from groups traffic
  • For designated routes, participate in forward revenue performance communications with stakeholders (local and abroad) to review route revenue performance, analyse deviations from plans, exchange market intelligence and develop actions to address revenue challengers and/or capitalise on opportunities
  • Provide insight into trading conditions, plans and strategies to achieve designated revenue objectives to all stakeholders
  • Support improvement of subordinates’ skills, capabilities, performance, efficiency and outputs though training, coaching and mentoring

Qualification:

  • Preferable educated to degree level in a numerical discipline (e.g. mathematics, economics, engineering, finance, etc.)
  • Minimum 3 years revenue management, pricing and/or commercial airline experience
  • Airline revenue management
  • Good knowledge and practical application of Excel essential
