In a step towards building confidence amongst passengers around the world to start travelling safely again when international borders reopen, Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), the national carrier of Brunei Darussalam, joins a growing list of airlines around the world to trial the IATA Travel Pass app developed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).<\/p>\n
The mobile app enables RB guests to securely and conveniently verify that they meet COVID-19 health requirements for their journey proof. With the app, guests will be able to create a digital health credential which will link guests\u2019 test results, proof of vaccination and travel information to their verified identity. The app also aims to pre-validate travellers prior to arrival at airports in order to make airline and security processes faster.<\/p>\n
\u201cRB has recently been rated with the highest seven-star rating against COVID-19 by www.airlineratings.com. The introduction of the IATA Travel Pass app further cements our commitment to the health and safety of our guests.\u201d said Captain Hj Khalidkhan Hj Asmakhan, RB CEO.<\/p>\n
