Royal Brunei Airlines Launches Discover Brunei To Connect Travellers With Brunei’s Experiences Ahead Of Visit Brunei Year 2027

New digital platform brings Brunei’s experiences together in one place, making it easier for international visitors to discover and book
LONDON, 4 November 2026–Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) today launched Discover Brunei, a new digital platform designed to make it easier for travellers to discover, explore and book experiences across Brunei Darussalam.
Unveiled at World Travel Market London 2026, Discover Brunei brings together a growing range of tourism experiences in one place, from culture and heritage to nature, adventure, diving, city tours and local activities. Also present at the launch was His Excellency First Admiral (Rtd) Pengiran Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi bin Pengiran Haji Muhammad, High Commissioner of
Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom.
The platform has been developed around a simple idea: making it easier for travellers to move from inspiration to experience.
While Brunei offers a wealth of attractions and authentic experiences, visitors can sometimes find it difficult to know what is available, where to find local operators and how to book. Discover
Brunei aims to address this by providing a single digital gateway where travellers can explore experiences and book directly.

Colonel Norsuriati Haji Sharbini, Interim Chief Executive Officer of Royal Brunei Airlines, said:

and make it easier for travellers to experience more of what our country has to offer.”
Connecting travellers with local experiences
Discover Brunei also provides a digital platform for local tourism operators and participating businesses to showcase their experiences to international visitors.
Tour operators can upload and promote their own products, creating an additional channel through which they can reach travellers while giving visitors access to a broader range of locally
delivered experiences.
For Royal Brunei Airlines, the platform builds on its role in connecting Brunei with international markets by helping travellers discover what they can do once they arrive.

The launch of Discover Brunei comes as the country prepares for Visit Brunei Year 2027, a year-long national tourism campaign aimed at showcasing Brunei Darussalam’s culture, heritage,
nature and diverse visitor experiences to international audiences.
By making local experiences more visible and accessible, Discover Brunei complements the national tourism effort and supports the development of tourism as a contributor to economic
diversification.
The initiative also aligns with the wider ambitions of Wawasan Brunei 2035, particularly the development of a dynamic and resilient economy and the creation of opportunities for
businesses and communities to participate in the growth of the tourism sector.
As Brunei prepares to welcome more visitors in 2027, Discover Brunei aims to encourage travellers not simply to visit the country, but to experience more of it – turning curiosity into travel
and travel into lasting memories.
