Royal Brunei Airlines is closely monitoring developments in parts of the Middle East which have resulted in airspace closures and significant operational disruption across the region.

The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority.

1. Are Royal Brunei Airlines flights affected?

Yes. Selected services to and from the Middle East, as well as connecting flights, are impacted due to airspace closures and operational restrictions. 

Please check your flight status at www.flyRB.com before proceeding to the airport. 

2. Should I go to the airport if my flight is affected?

Passengers whose flights are impacted are advised not to travel to the airport unless they have received confirmed updated departure details from Royal Brunei Airlines. 

3. Why are flights suspended even if some airspace appears open?

Airspace availability does not automatically mean that flight operations are safe. 

Royal Brunei Airlines conducts its own safety and risk assessments based on regulatory advisories, aviation security information and operational considerations. 

We will only resume services when conditions are assessed to be safe and operationally feasible. 

4. What options are available if my flight has been cancelled or postponed?

Passengers with affected bookings may choose to:

5. I am currently overseas and my return flight is affected. What support is available?

Passengers who are overseas and affected by disruption are being contacted directly. 

Where required, Royal Brunei Airlines will coordinate appropriate assistance, including accommodation arrangements and welfare support, subject to local conditions. 

We remain in contact with the relevant authorities and embassies regarding the safety and wellbeing of our passengers and personnel. 

6. Are Royal Brunei Airlines crew safe?

Yes. All Royal Brunei Airlines operating crew in the affected localities are safe and accounted for. 

7. How long will the disruption continue?

The situation remains fluid and subject to regional developments, airspace conditions, and regulatory approvals. 

Operations will resume only when it is safe to do so.
