Suspension of RB Link flights

Suspension of RB Link flights

20 March 2020, 11:51 AM

Royal Brunei Airlines today announces the suspension of the RB Link flights to various cities within Borneo.

With the rise in the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) globally and numerous travel restrictions from various Governments, demand for air travel across the world has declined significantly. Royal Brunei will therefore operate a revised and substantially reduced flying program across March and April.

The aircraft, maintenance, insurance and crew (both pilots and cabin crew) were provided by Malindo Air under this partnership and launched under the RB Link product. The suspension of flights will remain in place from Monday 23rd March to 30 November 2020. The suspension will be reviewed regularly in line with demand for international air travel and government directives in place then.

RB would like to thank its partner Malindo Air for their co-operation and support on the project as well as tourism and government stakeholders across Malaysia and Brunei.
