Royal Brunei Airlines celebrates the return to Beijing, People’s Republic of China

Brunei Darussalam, 24 APRIL 2025 — A afternoon reception event was held at Indera Samudra Grand Hall to celebrate Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) return to Beijing, People’s Republic of China. The event signifies the reestablishment for a seamless connection/route between the two capital cities of Brunei Darussalam and People’s Republic of China.
The event was graced and launched by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development and Chairman of Royal Brunei Airlines & His Excellency Mr Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. The event was also attended by representative from Brunei Government, representatives from Embassy of People’s republic of China in Brunei Darussalam, RB’s Business Partners, Travel Agencies and Chinese Business Community in Brunei,
The afternoon reception and the upcoming flight was blessed with a Doa Selamat recited by Yang Mulia Imam Haji Mohd Ashraf bin Haji Bujang. Invited guests was also showcased with a glimpse of Beijing along with a cultural performance from Wushu Federation Brunei & CHMS Lion dance Team.
The Brunei – Beijing route will be in service twice weekly from 28 April 2025 and will be operational through Beijing Daxing International Airport. The route will be serviced by RB’s modern and fuel-efficient Airbus A320neo fleet, providing passengers with a more comfortable and environmentally friendly flying experience with a full-service on board by our award-winning cabin crew.

To ensure the success of this route, RB will continue to collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Brunei and China, including tourism boards, government agencies, and travel partners. RB’s guests are also able to explore different cities of China via Beijing on our codeshare agreement with China Eastern Airlines.
