Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) has launched its newly refurbished and rebranded customer service centre at the RB Plaza in Bandar Seri Begawan. Guest of Honour for the event in the bright, refreshed and very customer friendly office setting was Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Awang Hj Bahrin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Finance.

The renovated ground floor of RB Plaza features the new Elite Lounge, Customer Service Centre and Surau.

The Elite Lounge, located to the left of the entrance into RB Plaza, offers Royal Skies Gold and Silver members a place to discuss their travel needs whilst enjoying a cup of coffee. Our Elite Lounge staff has been trained to offer integrated services such as purchasing tickets, ancillary services as well as redemption awards.

All Brunei based Customer Service Centres will also now be able to answer queries regarding Royal Skies; and redemption tickets can be collected from the airport service centre as well as at RB Plaza. RB Plaza operates 6 days a week, extending the Royal Skies counters operations from Monday to Saturday.

RB is also currently upgrading their system to enable all Brunei based Customer Service Centre to provide redemption capabilities. By the end of the year, RB’s system will be further enhanced to allow Royal Skies members to redeem tickets online similar to making an online ticket purchase.

Customer Service Centre at the Brunei International Airport operates 7 days a week, from 8am to 9pm Mondays to Saturdays and from 8am to 5pm on Sundays, except for Friday midday break from 12noon to 2pm.

RB customers would also have noticed the Premier Check-In Lounge at the Brunei International Airport. Porters will be at departure curb-side to assist with the baggage of Business Class as well as Gold and Silver members, and provide a trolley service to the check-in counters. The seating area at the premium check in lounge provides passengers with a relaxed check-in experience.

The event also provided an opportunity to showcase the new RB heritage inspired uniform collection to be proudly worn by all RB customer service staff. The warm spectrum of uniform colours ranging from mocha, olive, morning sky and fresh mint, together with the new vibrant office layout is all designed to reflect the friendly and welcoming nature of the people of Brunei Darussalam and RB brand.
