Discover Brunei on a 3-Day tour that lets you enjoy the full scope of what Brunei’s cultural and natural history has to offer. Stay at The Empire Hotel and Country Club on your first night and the next day visit the Royal Regalia Centre, Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, Malay Technology Museum, Istana Nurul Iman and Kampong Ayer in one day. Ride a speedboat to Ulu-Ulu National Park Resort, shop at a nearby market at Bangar Town, and ride a longboat to National Park and enjoy refreshments at the CLUB Lounge before having dinner at Valley Cafe. Finish off your second day with a night tour, and start your last with a canopy walk at dawn for one of the most unforgettable, experience-rich three days of your life.

- Duration: 3 days 2 nights. Tour Departs 0900 hours. Tour commences 30 minutes earlier for hotels located outside city areas.
- For mosque visits – dress appropriately, wearing non-revealing clothing and/or shorts that are below the knees. There will be robes given upon entering the mosque.
- For Royal Regalia Museum – recommended for visitors to wear socks as shoes will need to be removed
- Bring sunscreen lotion, a hat and/or wear long sleeves for the boat ride.
- Mosques are closed for inside visit on Thursday, Friday, some religious public holidays and at certain times nearer to the prayer time. In the case of the inside visit is not available, it will be photo stop outside only.
What to bring along
Please bring along a set of dry clothes, footwear that you won’t mind getting wet in (preferably sandal with strap), hiking shoe, swimwear, personal toiletries, rain coat, torch, binocular, hat, insect repellent and small backpacks for your luggage (no porter available). Bath and face towel, toilet roll and facial tissue are provided at the resort.

Arrival at Brunei International Airport and transfer to The Empire Hotel & Country Club.

In the morning, pick up from the hotel’s lobby for Bandar Splendour Tour – 5 Hours with lunch. This comprehensive tour will give you an insight on Brunei’s history, religion, culture and heritage. The tour covers Royal Regalia Museum, home to a collection of royal regalia, royal chariot, gold and silver ceremonial armoury and the spectacular Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, which has twenty-nine 22K golden-topped domes. You will also visit the Malay Technology Museum which has galleries on the Malays, ethnic tribes and their lifestyles. There is a short photo stop of the magnificent Istana Nurul Iman, the largest residential palace in the world from Damuan Park.
Lastly, you will take an enjoyable boat ride on the Kampong Ayer, one of the world’s largest water villages and visit a privately owned house to enjoy local delicacies. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, proceed to Ulu-Ulu Resort.
An excellent tour for nature lovers or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The national park is 50,000 hectares of pristine rainforest with one of the best biodiversity in the world. You will experience up close the wonders of the rainforest; listen to the orchestra of nature’s music by the insects, birds and animals. This tour is rated as a soft adventure and suitable for those reasonably fit as there are many steps to climb and some slippery and wet tracks. The journey to the national park from Bandar Seri Begawan is itself interesting as you go on three different modes of transport and see the change in vegetation (plenty of photo opportunities). The trip departs BSB early afternoon and we proceed by speedboat to Bangar town where we will go overland to Batang Duri. At Batang Duri, we will go on a long boat or temuai up the rapids to the national park.
All meals are based upon local favourites and they are excellent too. Stainless Steel Bottle is also provided for water refill at the resort. After registration and check-in into your villa, you are free at leisure till dinner time, you can go swimming in the river or just relax and enjoy the serene majestic view of the surroundings. After dinner, we will brief on the next day’s programme and proceed for a night walk.

Morning call will be at 4:30am and after a light breakfast, proceed to the canopy walk for the sunrise view that literally takes your breath away. When the mist lifts, you will see birds flying out to feed and gibbons calling across the treetops. We will then return to the resort for breakfast and rest before heading to the mini waterfall where we can enjoy fish massage as well as a jungle trekking back to the resort. Lunch will be served before we return to BSB. Once arrive in Bandar Seri Begawan, transfer to Brunei International Airport for return flight.
