Senior Officer – Health, Safety & Environment

The role is responsible for ensuring workplace compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role includes conducting safety inspections, investigating incidents, implementing HSE policies and procedures, promoting safety awareness, and ensuring a safe working environment for employees and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Safety, Health and Environment, or Diploma holder of an internationally recognized course in Aviation Safety Management Systems or Occupational Safety and Health, or Environment Management.
• 5 years’ experience as a Safety Officer in a high risk or regulated industry such as Aviation, Oil & Gas.
• Excellent command of English both in spoken and written.
• Conversant with Brunei Darussalam Workplace Safety and Health Regulations, as well as RB’s HSE requirements;
• Has completed Instructional Techniques or Train the Trainers course, and has proven experience in safety course instruction for 3 years or more
• Preferred training in Risk Management and Accident Investigation Techniques and safety auditing.
• Able to multi-task, resourceful and pro-active and work well under pressure.
• Attentive to details and well organized.
