On 3rd December 2016, RB flight BI872 from Kuala Lumpur to Bandar Seri Begawan experienced a momentary air turbulence during cruise. It occured after the meal service causing some items to fall onto the floor of the aircraft.
Turbulences of this nature are unexpected and seldom occur. Our crew are fully trained to deal with these types of operational matters.
No passengers or crew members were hurt during the turbulence and the aircraft landed safely in Bandar Seri Begawan at 02:32pm as scheduled.
