Middle East Airspace Disruptions
5 March 2026, 1:28 PM
Due to the ongoing unrest in the Middle East, Royal Brunei Airlines will be operating non-stop flights between Brunei and Heathrow (to also allow onboard connections) from 10 March 2026 until 27 March 2026.
Royal Brunei Airlines advises therefore that flights to and from Dubai (DXB) will be cancelled until 27 March 2026 due to ongoing operational disruptions affecting regional airspace.
Passengers holding bookings on affected flights are advised not to proceed to the airport and to review the available travel options below.
Passengers due to travel to/from Dubai between 01 March 2026 and 27 March 2026 can choose from the following options:
- Rebook on the next available Royal Brunei Airlines flight*.
- Reroute your journey to another destination within the Royal Brunei Airlines network where applicable.
- Convert the ticket into a Travel Voucher (TV) that’s valid for 12 months from when the voucher is issued.
- Request a full refund of your fare to the original form of payment. For wholly unused tickets, you’ll receive a refund of the full amount paid. For partially used tickets, you’ll receive a refund of the unused portion.
Passengers who booked through a travel agent or third-party platform are advised to contact their respective agents for assistance.
Royal Brunei Airlines continues to monitor the situation closely. Depending on developments, further extensions to the suspension of Dubai services may be necessary.
The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority.
Further updates will be shared through RB’s official channels.
Passengers whose flights have been affected are advised to contact the UK Reservations team from Monday to Friday between 0900-1730 on 0207 584 6660 or via email on [email protected].
