Who can pre-purchase extra baggage allowance?

If you think your baggage will exceed the checked baggage allowance, you can pre-purchase extra baggage allowance.

Are the rates lower when compared to at the airport?

Yes, the rates are lower if you purchase in advance.

How can I purchase extra baggage allowance?

You can purchase extra baggage allowance up to 24 hours before departure through Manage my Booking or no later than 4 hours prior to scheduled departure through any of our offices.

How are pre-purchased extra baggage allowance charged?

Pre-purchased extra baggage allowance is charged by weight in bundles of 5kg, 10kg, 20kg or 35kgs. For more information, visit Pre-Purchased Extra Baggage Allowance page.

What is the maximum baggage weight for each traveller?

Maximum baggage per traveller is 65kg inclusive the free baggage allowance from initial booking.

I paid for pre-purchased extra baggage allowance. Can I get a refund or transfer the baggage allowance if I cancel or make changes to my booking?

If you have made a date change to your booking, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Airlines office for your pre-purchased extra baggage allowance will be transferred to the new date.

If you have cancelled your flight booking and requested for a refund, the pre-purchased extra baggage allowance will be refunded together.

Refund of pre-purchased extra baggage allowance only is not allowed.

If my pre-purchased extra baggage allowance was not used, can I get a refund?

Yes, you can. Provided the entire journey is cancelled. Please contact your local Royal Brunei Office to cancel your booking and request refund.

Can I top-up my pre-purchased extra baggage allowance?

Yes, you can. Please contact your local Royal Brunei Office to make the changes.

Will pre-purchased extra baggage allowance be available on all flights?

Yes, it is available on all Royal Brunei operated flights. For codeshare or interline flights, please contact your local Royal Brunei office for bookings.
