When and where can I use online check-in?

Guests may visit www.flyroyalbrunei.com on desktop and mobile to check-in online. The online check-in facility is currently available for the below departures:

  • Brunei Darussalam

  • Kuching
  • Dubai
  • Hong Kong

Online / mobile check-in is available for confirmed bookings from 48 hours up to 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time for all guests travelling with electronic tickets (e-tickets).

I have been successful with my RB Upgrades offer. Am I still eligible to utilise the online check-in facility?

No, kindly check-in at any of our Business Class counters.

I have purchased my ticket from a travel agent. Can I use online check-in?

Yes, please make sure you have your email and contact number in your booking. You can check or change your contact details from Manage Booking.

Am I still eligible to utilise the online check-in facility?

Online / mobile check-in facility is now available for confirmed bookings with special requests below:

Who is not eligible to utilise the online check-in facility?

Online / mobile check-in facility is not available for bookings below:

  • Guests travelling on flights not operated by Royal Brunei Airlines
  • Guests with connecting flight with other airline in their booking
  • Group booking

My online / mobile check-in is successful. What must I do next when I arrive at the airport?

Please note that during this time, e-boarding passes are only available for flights from below departures:

  • Brunei
  • Dubai
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • London
  • Melbourne
  • Kota Kinabalu (Guests must complete an e-boarding pass immigration slip before the immigration checkpoint, available at check-in counters and near the immigration zone.)
  • Kuching (Guests must complete an e-boarding pass immigration slip before the immigration checkpoint, available at check-in counters and near the immigration zone.)
  • Tokyo (Narita)

Guest has the option to print or save it on their mobile device for verification during verification at the airport.

For flights other than from those listed above, kindly proceed to check-in counters for entry/exit approval verification and boarding pass collection. Refer here for the opening time of check-in counters at the airport.

It is our guests’ responsibility to ensure they meet the strict travel criteria and have all appropriate approvals and documentations to enter/depart any country. I have checked-in online. Is there a time scheduled for checked-in luggage drop-off?

Online check-in luggage drop remains the same as per regular check-in. Luggage drop-off acceptance will close at 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for all destinations, except London which will close at 60 minutes (one hour) prior to scheduled departure time.
Therefore we advise passengers to arrive at the airport early and set aside ample time for luggage drop-off and immigration security clearance.

Will I be able to print Boarding Passes?

Will I be able to print Boarding Passes for codeshare or interline flights?

Online check-in services will not be available for codeshare and interline flights that are not operated by Royal Brunei Airlines.

What is online / mobile check-in?

Online / Mobile Check-In is a system that allows guests to save time at the airport by checking-in online prior to arriving at the airport for your Royal Brunei Airlines flight.
The online / mobile check-in facility is available in most cities in Royal Brunei Airlines network, with the exception of departures from Saudi Arabia and China.
